Hello! My name is Don, and I am a 34yo guy who like to RP with paper, pencil, and imagination! (I just repeated that out loud, and it sounds really corny, so forgive me!) Anyway, I haven't had the opportunity to play in quite some time (it has been around 10 years now). I have played Marvel, and D&D while in the navy, and would like to play again soon. Problem is, I have no friends who share this interest with me. I have thought about going to the local comic shop to inquire about rp'ing, but I am kinda shy. (ahh internet, the face-mask through which I gain +2 social skills!) Anyway, if any of you might have any ideas, or even an open slot in a party, that would be great! I live in the west valley,(near the football stadium). Thanks for any help in advance!

Hello Docta, welcome to the forum. This isn't probably the best place to find a D&D game to roleplay. However we might be able to help you with what you're looking for. I have roleplayed D&D and I do enjoy it. I know someone from Phoenix who roleplays too. I can hit him up and see if he still know places to check in Phoenix.
That said, we do roleplay here on this forum. Its different from paper and pencil roleplaying, but an active imagination is a must, and the rules are more flexible pending on who your Game Master is. Dungeon Master for D&D. Anyways hit me up if you have any questions or reply here.
