This thread is for discussion of game endings, and of course, listing your favorites.
My top three favorite video game endings of all time are:
1. Skies of Arcadia Legends
2. Bomberman 64: The Second Attack
3. The original NES version of Final Fantasy. Not so much for the ending itself, but the feeling I got when I actually managed to beat this insanely hard game. All the remakes after the original NES version are pathetic in difficulty compared to the original

ok mmm my fav GAME endings are
1. Final Fantasy VIII (Go Squall and Rinoa!^__^) I was actually sobbing in the end!
2. Kingdom Hearts (Horribly sad but moving altogether)
3. SIMS... JOKE! Um here is probably ZORK or Little Big Adventure? Don't really know...There is too many! Or Drakengard 2 or Dragon Guest!

1. Devil May Cry 3. The end cutscenes of the final 2 missions rock hard.
2. Timesplitters 2. Cortez blasting off in his ship, leaving the space station in ruins... Awesome...
3. Killer 7. Nobody saw that twist coming.

- The Legend of Zelda; Majora's Mask
A moon with an evil face crashing down on the world, four awesome leggy giants and the truth of the mask revealed! Then there's the weird moon world and the weird kids playing, then you have a nice boss battle. Great stuff. After a heartful message from the mask seller, you get to see all the townspeople you met celebrating the carni as the credits go by. Aw.
Hmm, that's the only one I can remember. Not many of my favourite games have particularly strong endings; its the journey that matters, after all.

Shadow of the Colossus: Was I the only one who saw this ending coming? I think so. None the less it rocked, and made me cry a bit.
Halo: Fact is, Halo's ending is sweet. You just spent a few hours in fighting through hell and homicidal mushrooms with shotguns. And you're treated to this rather majestic silent destruction of Halo, as well as the realization that alot of good men died on that ring and you're more or less the only survivor. And of course that one little bit of dialog. "Halo... It's finished." "...No...I think we're just getting started..."
Starwars Knights of the Old Republic: (Sith ending) You just won over Bastiala, the beat the crap out of everyone that stood in your way until you managed to bring down the fool who over threw you in the first place. You now rule an inter-steller empire and are generally regarded as the greatest bad ass to ever exist... What ending could be sweeter than that?
